Toasted Coconut-Almond Granola Bars
These chewy Toasted Coconut-Almond Granola Bars are so easy to stir together and bake up, you may never buy granola bars at the store again!
Ingredients
- 2 cups granola crumbs
- 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees and set granola bar mold on baking sheet.
- Combine butter, brown sugar and honey in a heavy medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a boil and simmer briefly, then remove from heat and add coconut extract, stirring to combine.
- Combine granola crumbs, toasted almonds, toasted coconut and salt in a large mixing bowl. Pour syrup over and stir to combine.
- Spoon granola bar mixture into granola bar mold to fill. Then press down with parchment.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then remove from oven and let cool completely befroe unmolding.
