Jacques Pepin's Apple Fritters
Let’s make Jacques Pepin’s Apple Fritters, my friends❣️Throwing it back to 2012 when my mom and I got to go to Aspen Food & Wine and watch Jacques Pepin whip up these super simple beer battered apple fritters. What a sweet memory. What I love most about this recipe is, well…everything!
Ingredients
- 1 Stella Artois
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- dash of kosher salt
- 2 Pink Lady apples
Instructions
- Pop open a Stella Artois.
- Whisk together 1 cup Stella Artois and 1 cup flour until smooth.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon cinnamon and a dash of Kosher salt.
- Heat 1 inch oil in heavy pot over medium heat until hot.
- Use 1/3 cup measuring cup to scoop batter into hot oil.
- Cook fritters for about 3 minutes per side, or until light golden.
- Remove to cooling rack to cool.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
