Holy Guacamole Toast
Let’s make Holy Moly Guacamole Toast, my friends! It’s everything you love about avocado toast and so much more!
Ingredients
- Pillsbury crescent sheet
- 1 small can green chiles
- 2 teaspoons cornmeal
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon minced cilantro
- chili flakes, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray baking sheet with olive oil baking spray.
- Unroll Pillsbury crescent sheet.
- Spread 1 small can green chiles over the top and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons cornmeal.
- Fold dough sheet in half, then crimp edges to seal.
- Bake for 12 minutes, until light golden brown.Let cool slightly, then slice into four rectangular slices.
- Toss together~1 avocado, diced, 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice and minced cilantro.
- Top chili crescent rectangles with fresh guacamole, sprinkle with red chili flakes.
