Garlic Butter Bun Christmas Tree

My super simple pillowy soft and oh-so-flavorful go-to Garlic Butter Buns, but make them into a Christmas tree for a fun and festive bread to bring to all of your holiday gatherings. It's a Rhodes rolls to the rescue recipe, so fear not. Just carve out some time to let them properly rise before assembly and baking. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 24 Rhodes dinner rolls (frozen foods)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
  • Maldon salt, for sprinkling tops of rolls
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Brush platter with olive oil and set rolls on top, leaving a little space between them. Brush a sheet of plastic wrap with olive oil and set on top on rolls. Let rise for three hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees with oven rack in upper middle of oven.
  3. Melt butter and stir in garlic and parsley.
  4. Brush baking sheet with olive oil and assemble rolls into a triangle 1 at the top, then 2, then 3 and so on, making a tree shape. Sprinkle with Maldon salt.
  5. Bake Garlic Butter Bun Christmas Tree in preheated oven for about 19 minutes. Serve hot.
