Garlic Butter Bun Christmas Tree
My super simple pillowy soft and oh-so-flavorful go-to Garlic Butter Buns, but make them into a Christmas tree for a fun and festive bread to bring to all of your holiday gatherings. It's a Rhodes rolls to the rescue recipe, so fear not. Just carve out some time to let them properly rise before assembly and baking. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 24 Rhodes dinner rolls (frozen foods)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
- Maldon salt, for sprinkling tops of rolls
- olive oil
Instructions
- Brush platter with olive oil and set rolls on top, leaving a little space between them. Brush a sheet of plastic wrap with olive oil and set on top on rolls. Let rise for three hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees with oven rack in upper middle of oven.
- Melt butter and stir in garlic and parsley.
- Brush baking sheet with olive oil and assemble rolls into a triangle 1 at the top, then 2, then 3 and so on, making a tree shape. Sprinkle with Maldon salt.
- Bake Garlic Butter Bun Christmas Tree in preheated oven for about 19 minutes. Serve hot.
