Sydne George Special of the DayAnd so, tomorrow marks the closing of an incredibly rewarding chapter for me as an artist.

Alas, everything has a season, and it seems my Special of the Day food column is about to expire.

While of course I’m sad to say farewell to a project I have thoroughly enjoyed pouring my heart and soul into for several years, more than anything, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to create new recipes, develop my food photography skills, and share inspirations and stories from the world of food with my loyal readers.

It’s been a hell of a ride, and tons of fun for me. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way~ friends and family who have given me steadfast support, chefs and restaurants who have graciously shared recipes, farmers and store owners who have helped me source ingredients, sweet souls who have stopped me in the grocery store to say hello, and everyone who has read my column.
